Attention!

All vocation centre members please note that the sunset activity which was to be held on the 2nd of August, is cancelled. Instead we will be going to the beach on the 1st of August - Everything will be the same as on the 23rd July (today). Coach will leave St Monica Gzira at 4.30pm, will go to St Monica B'kara, Mosta near Subaru, St Paul's Bay (HSBC) and then Mellieha... We will leave Mellieha at 7.45pm. Thanks and please spread the word... If you are coming for the Luzzu activity, get the form on the first of August. If you won't be coming on the 1st, send me an email on veronicagerada@gmail.com. The St Monica Schools Vocation Centre is intended to provide opportunities that continue to aid the students’ human and spiritual formation. Its members are students from Form 1 to Form 5, who join the group voluntarily. The Vocation Centre aims at helping its members grow in self-awareness, in their relationship with Jesus and with others. The ultimate aim is that of helping each member live her life as a calling from God who has a special plan for each one of us; a plan that will lead us to our own fulfilment and happiness; hence the name ‘Vocation Centre’. The Vocation Centre’s Motto: One heart and one soul in Jesus, is an expression of our Augustinian Spirituality and expresses our commitment to these students to help them become true Christians through the values of friendship and solidarity, which result from their relationship with Jesus. Vocation Centre members meet every Friday, after school, till 3 pm. During these meetings, they have the opportunity to socialize and grow in friendship through fun activities, such as sport, dance and drama, and to pray and grow spiritually through the prayer-meetings that follow these activities. Apart from the Friday meetings, other activities are organised, such as hikes, films and parties in winter, and swimming and summer camps in summer. For older students overnight seminars are also organized.
